Transmittal Methods

There are multiple ways of transmitting an issue from Atvero, depending on what works for you. To learn more about where these are used, click Creating an Issue below.

The different methods include:

  •  Email As Attached Files:

The revisions will be attached directly on an email, along with the transmittal document.

This email is also customisable using a template in the hubsite, to learn more about templates click Customising email templates below.

  • Email with SharePoint Link:

The recipient will receive an email with a link to view the issued revisions in SharePoint. Here the recipients can download the revisions and the transmittal document.

  • Email with Atvero CheckPoint Link:

The recipient will receive an email with a link to view the issued revisions in Atvero CheckPoint. Here the recipients can download the revisions and the transmittal document.

Users can view recipient activity and manage access to the CheckPoint sharing link from Atvero. Learn more follow the guide below.

  • Export As Zip File For Download:

For this method the transmittal is not directly send to the recipients, but instead the sender can download the transmittal as a zip file and manually send the transmittal to the recipients.

Downloaded zip file could be sent via a Third Party, but the method issue is still stored within Atvero.

To download the zip, select the transmitted issue in the Transmittals list, and under Download click Download Transmittal.

  • Copied SharePoint Link:

For this method the transmittal is not directly sent to the recipients, but instead the sender can generate a link to the SharePoint folder where the issued revisions are stored. Here the recipients can download the revisions and the transmittal document.

To use this method, the sender will copy the generated link and send it to the recipients using a method of their choice such as Teams or via an email.

To generate the link, select the transmitted issue in the Transmittals list, and under Share click Create SharePoint link to Copy.

Similarly to the Zip File method, even though the generated link might be sent using a Third Party, the method issue is still stored within Atvero.

  • Via Autodesk BIM360

This method allows users to send their transmittal using the BIM360 plugin, the learn more about how to install the BIM360 plug in click Installing BIM360 below.
